Elon Musk has turned into a household name over the last few years. The billionaire has stunned the world with his meteoric rise amongst the richest people in the world. In addition, Tesla is warming up and has taken charge of the electronic revolution. Still, analysts have speculated that Musk will become the world’s first trillionaire not because of Tesla, but because of SpaceX. Morgan Stanley also backs this claim, according to Bloomberg.
There have been quite some contenders to become the world’s first trillionaire. Starting from Bill Gates, who was tipped to reach this pedestal by 2005. Then it was Bezos who was in contention during the pandemic with a prediction that he would reach this landmark feat by 2026, and now it’s Musk who is seemingly going to get there before anyone else does.
Musk has also jokingly commented on the possibility of him becoming the first trillionaire ahead of Jeff Bezos. However, Adam Jonas, an analyst from Morgan Stanley, believes that with its rockets and launch vehicles, Musk’s SpaceX “is challenging any preconceived notion of what was possible and the time frame possible,” Bloomberg reported.
In a brief study named “SpaceX Escape Velocity … Who Can Catch Them?” Jonas has predicted SpaceX’s value to reach $200 billion in the upcoming years. However, he did not give any date for the company to reach this point. Jonas believes that there may be hick-ups along the path. The ambitious launch of SpaceX’s spaceship may have been rescheduled for launch in the next year Jonas is pitching Starlink to be the main contributor in Musk’s rise.
