Here Is How Elon Musk Managed To Stream The Starman Live Feed

We already discussed the successful launch of the Falcon Heavy Rocket and the attention that Starman has been getting all across the world. We even saw the live feed that was being streamed from the Tesla Roadster for the whole world to see. Now we are going to take a look at how Elon Musk managed to make it happen.

There has been a lot of talk on how Elon Musk managed to stream such clear images from outer space for the whole world to see and many people are raising eyebrows. They claim that the images are too good to be true and were somehow faked but there is a relatively simple explanation for the mesmerizing images. Elon Musk himself said, “You can tell it’s real because it looks so fake.”

The breathtaking views captured by Starman and his car are simply a perfect combination of camera placement and the space environment. The camera mounts can be seen in the photos that were taken before the launch and the camera mounts can even be seen in brief glimpses as a reflection or a shadow on the side of the vehicle. They can even be seen directly through the windshield.

About the sharp colours of the pictures, Musk says that it is because of space itself. He admitted that the photos are difficult to take at face value but space lacks the interference of particles found in the Earth’s atmosphere. He said, “I  think it looks so ridiculous and impossible. And you can tell it’s real because it looks so fake, honestly. We’d have way better CGI if it was fake. And you know, the colours all kind of look weird in space, there’s no atmospheric occlusion – everything looks too crisp”

That did not stop the scepticism and the Flat Earth Society took the opportunity to remind their followers that not everything you see on the internet can be believed. “People who believe that the Earth is a globe because ‘they saw a car in space on the Internet’ must be the new incarnation of ‘It’s true. I saw it on TV!’ It’s a poor argument,” the Flat Earth Society tweeted. “Why would we believe any privately-held company to report the truth?”

SpaceX and Elon Musk have been taking all criticism at face value and are unfazed by what people are saying because what they accomplished is what they have been aiming for the better part of the decade and it is a huge achievement.
