Elon Musk is the only one who has launched his own hats, flamethrowers and even intergalactic media empire through his tweets. This time he has announced to launch a ‘cyborg dragon’ very soon. He announced this by casually sending a tweet which said, “Oh [by the way] I’m building a cyborg dragon.” It is not clear what exactly Musk is building this time. However, in reply to his tweet, many users posted images of dragons from Game of Thrones and Power Rangers. Many other users said that Musk should focus on producing more Model 3s. Many of his customers are still waiting to get their car after reserving it several months ago.
One user tweeted, “Pretty irresponsible use of time, considering the financial trouble Tesla seems to be in…”. Another one said, “Are people not waiting for their Model 3s to be delivered?” Musk also joked with a user saying that cyborg dragons are an ‘underserved market’. Musk has been known to bring many fictional ideas into reality in the past. Last week he said that SpaceX will try to use a ‘giant party balloon’ and a bouncy house to retrieve the upper stage of a Falcon 9 rocket. The upper stage is the crucial part of the rocket that carries a payload into the orbit.
In another tweet some time ago, Musk said that “Thud” is the name of his new ‘intergalactic media empire’. Another report said that Musk had poached several writers and editors from satirical news publication The Onion to work on a secret project that he is funding. Musk said, “It’s pretty obvious that comedy is the next frontier after electric vehicles, space exploration, and brain-computer interfaces.” In January, he said that he will create the safest flamethrower ever after he sold 50,000 Boring Company hats.
Many people assumed that he is joking. To this Musk said, “I know it’s a little off-brand, but kids love it.” As soon as the flamethrowers were available, the orders to buy them flooded and the company raised $10 million in the process. Musk also claimed that he has sent his own cherry red Tesla Roadster to Mars in the Falcon Heavy. Many believed his claims to be a joke until he launched the most powerful rocket into the orbit. Musk’s Roadster was the Falcon Heavy’s payload along with a dummy passenger called Starman.
So considering his history, we might actually see a cyborg dragon soon!
