Dubai Police Adds Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG To Its Fleet

Dubai has been focus of news for a number of reasons and even here you will be able to find a number of articles related to Dubai; Mega-projects, super cars and what not. But most of all Dubai is known for its extravagance. You will find projects which are there only for the sake of being there and super cars which have been left on the roads without anyone to claim them! In all this background, the news that United Arab Emirates city has added another recruit to their Police squad in the form of Mercedes Benz G63 AMG doesn’t come as much of a shock.

However, if you’re thinking that this is the stock model of G63 then you’re in a shock. This one is Brabus 700 Widestar edition of the SUV. It comes with a 5.5. lier bi-turbo V8 engine which can deliver 700 horsepower. This power output makes it possible for any off-roader to achieve a speed of 60 Mph from 0 Mph in about 4.9 seconds. This, yes we know, will not be enough to catch all those super cars out there but this addition sure does make the Police look more cool and badass. Plus, this SUV is an off-roader too so that gives it an edge and most importantly, its a Mercedes for crying out loud.

This one surely is impressive but we would definitely like to some more improvements made to the police squad in terms of the cars that they are using for hot pursuits. What do you think of this new addition? Let us know in comments!
