Dubai is set to welcome a new architecture called Burj Azizi, a skyscraper that will stand at 725 meters (2,378 feet), making it the second-tallest building in the world after the Burj Khalifa.
The project, led by Azizi Developments was originally revealed in January. However, the plans for it have now been confirmed, with construction set to proceed on what will be a monumental addition to Dubai’s skyline.
Mirwais Azizi, Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments said that “our investment in Burj Azizi, surpassing AED 6 billion [roughly USD 1.6 billion], represents more than just the creation of an iconic structure. It is a commitment to transforming Sheikh Zayed Road and elevating Dubai’s skyline to new, unparalleled heights.”
The design of Burj Azizi will feature a stunning glazed exterior composed of multiple rectangular sections. The 131-floor structure will house a “Seven Star” hotel, inspired by seven different cultural themes, and will offer ultra-luxury residences, including penthouses, apartments, and vacation homes. In addition to the residential offerings, the tower will boast a vertical shopping mall and several world-class amenities.
Among its remarkable features will be the world’s highest observation deck, nightclub, and restaurant, promising visitors and residents an unforgettable experience at soaring elevations. Other amenities will include wellness centers, swimming pools, saunas, cinemas, gyms, and high-end dining establishments.
The ambitious project is set to be completed by 2028, with the sale of residences scheduled to begin in February 2025.
Though pricing details have yet to be released, it is clear that these will be luxury properties, designed to cater to the elite market.
“Burj Azizi is not merely about its towering stature or prime location. With its innovative design and cutting-edge technology, this tower will offer ultra-luxury residences, a unique vertical shopping mall, and a wealth of amenities and dining experiences, all set at extraordinary elevations,” Azizi emphasized.
