Watch These Drones Replace Models At The Milan Fashion Week

Dolce & Gabbana make it to the headlines normally due to the iconic fashion and bold choices for their trendsetting ideas. Recently, the company caught attention for their latest line of handbags which were not brought to the ramp by gorgeous signature model. This time D&G decided to use drones for their catwalk for Milan Fashion Week. The drones were hovering on the runway but to keep pace with the interesting fashion walk, this show also faced some glitches.

It was reported that the show got delayed an additional 45 minutes and some of the biggest names in fashion were angered over it. Vogue’s longtime editor-in-chief and fashion critic Anna Wintour also got annoyed and increased the difficulties of the crew.

Fashionista gave a statement saying, “After 45 minutes — and what was surely a very stern talking-to from one Anna Wintour, who, later, lost her patience for the proceedings and leaped up from her seat after 40 minutes and several announcements passed — we learned what was so important: Drones. The gates to Dolce & Gabbana’s heaven opened up, and out flew a handful of drones toting a new style of handbag. They fluttered up towards the angels decorating the set before filing onto the runway.”

The drones later gave way to real ravishing models who displayed other items of the latest collection. This wouldn’t be really surprised if Boston Dynamics robots someday replace the models once and for all. Someday Sophia might also consider a future in modelling. Or maybe not!
