Having a major chunk of your hard earned dough wane away into paying outrageous amounts of rent or mortgage makes a part of you die inside. Add the repairs and maintenance of the house to that, and it seems like the only purpose in your life is to earn enough for a roof over your head.
A couple in UK felt the same. But instead of whining about it, they came up with a creative solution. Adam Croft, 29, and his partner Nikki Pepperell, 32 decided to move into a Ford Transit and make it their home on wheels! The project took around one year and £10,000 ($13,040) in additions, along with a £3,500 van bought off of eBay, and now they don’t have to worry about huge sums of rent ever!
The home on wheels features a bathroom, kitchen with a shower, windows, a couch, furnished flooring, a king size bed and even a porch! Although the space looks a bit congested, but when you take the price into account, the setup is nothing short of incredible.
The pair now hopes to travel and work around Europe using their moving home, and they even have set up a chronicle for their journeys on The Van Diaries.
