No matter how smart you are, you will be confused by 4D. The advanced dimension which encompasses time can be hard for us to understand since we are 3D beings and it also leads us to ask if it exists or not. Trevor Englis explained 4D as “a place you can travel to by going in a direction perpendicular to the third dimension.” He also acknowledged that “to the untrained eye, this statement makes absolutely no sense.” In this video, the YouTuber, The Science Elf gave us a beginner’s guide to the fourth dimension which ultimately makes sense.
He used few examples, including the one with the 4D cube the tesseract, the clip’s host provides an easy-to-follow progression of explanations which illustrate this extra dimension. The clip’s description says, “Math can be weird sometimes, usually when it goes against some of our most common knowledge, yet still can make sense. This is one of those times.” In the end, the YouTuber says that 4D space allows us to devise shapes which are impossible in 3D as well as other tricks. In a 4D world, it will allow us to mirror an entire 3D object. This video will help clarify the existing dimension for you. Watch this video clip to clear your idea of a 4D sphere.
