The CES 2018 Innovation Award goes to QYSEA’s flagship product, FIFISH P3. This claims to be the first truly professional underwater robot and takes underwater drone exploration to a whole new level. The drone has the capability to record high-quality video and take top of the line photographs at the depths of 100 meters.
The remote-control drone P3 has a 20 Megapixel CMOS sensor. This is 4 times bigger than the typical underwater sensors. It also has a 4000-Lumen lighting capability specifically designed for underwater environments to light up its ultra-wide 162o field-of-view. Using its enhanced contrast and a maximum ISO of 12800, it can capture the tiniest details in the darkest of environments.
This FIFISH P3 can live stream glitch-free videos in 1080P @ 30 fps or 720P @ 30fps using 2.4 GHz transmission. It also overtakes other drones when it comes to performance. The hand-held control unit uses advanced technology and is compatible with all smartphones and tablets up to 7.9 inches. The unit allows seamless motion in 6 directions.
The drone is powered by three 3 thrusters and can move at 1.5 m/s. It can spend around 2 hours underwater on a single charge. Another feature that differentiates it from the others is that it has been rigorously tested for thermal shocks, temperature variations, pressure loads and depth stress. This makes it one of the most robust drones available on the market.

As divers and video enthusiasts ourselves, we knew we could build a better system, a totally revolutionary platform with performance that would be suitable for consumers as well as professionals alike. The result is the P3, the perfect vehicle to capture epic moments underwater,” says Belinda Zhang, CEO.
Thr drone will be displayed at CES 2018, from January 9-12, in Las Vegas. The product is also expected to be launched on Indiegogo somewhere in the middle of January. The special pre-order price has not been revealed yet but it is expected to be somewhere around $3,000.
