BLU Products, a Miami based company have recently launched a new smartphone, Life Pure XL. BLU has a reputation of coming up with mid-range Android Smartphones at fairly low prices. It’s not that the Life Pure XL is the best available Smartphone in town, but it has the capability to compete with a top level Smartphone because of its specs with a starting price as low as 349 Dollars.
BLU intends to have 2 configurations, with the first model hitting the streets this week and the second going on sale in June. The model launched recently costs 399$, and has a RAM of 3GB and storage of 32 GB, while the model to be launched in June is a bit cheaper. That model costs 349$ with 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage.
Both phones possess 5.5 inch screen, 1920 x 1080 pixel displays, 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processors, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, and NFC. The thing about Smartphones that worries the customers these days is their battery life. Both of the phones have non-removable 2500mAh batteries, ensuring very good battery life.
Life Pure XL possesses a 16MP rear camera as well as an 8MP front camera. This makes it an attraction for people struck with selfie syndrome. Like all good Smartphones, the back camera has an auto focus and a flash. What more, even its front camera has the auto focus feature. Its screen is covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protector ensuring durability. It supports Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, although BLU says that they would be able to update to Android 4.4 KitKat.
