Dustin Sloan and Trenton Charlson are two engineering students at Georgia Tech. They like to use their expertise by modifying toys by adding monstrous engines to them. Their latest experiment is the addition of a log splitter engine to a Power Wheels Barbie Jeep.
They added a full-sized gas engine, a steering mechanism, and hydraulic brakes to the Barbie Jeep and turned it into a drift machine. The original jeep can hit a top speed of 2.5 mph but their addition allows it to reach speeds as high as 30 mph. It is so satisfying to watch as it drifts around corners.
