Apple Has Finally Made An iPad Calculator App After 14 Years

Apple has finally answered a long-standing request by introducing a Calculator app for the iPad as part of iPadOS 18. This announcement was made at the WWDC 2024.

The much anticipated new Calculator app for iPad was finally released at WWDC 2024. Although it has more features, the app resembles the well-known iOS calculator. Its compatibility with the Apple Pencil is particularly noteworthy since it enables users to jot down mathematical issues and have the app solve them using a feature called arithmetic Notes.

Earlier this year, rumors suggested that the iPad Calculator app might be released soon. However, its official release is a positive step, particularly considering that Apple released the Weather app on the iPad with iPadOS 16 two years ago.

In addition to the Calculator app, iPadOS 18 includes a feature called Smart Script that makes handwritten notes easier to read. This version also includes a number of iOS 18 personalization enhancements.

These new iPadOS 18 features demonstrate Apple’s dedication to enhancing user experience throughout its ecosystem as the company works to improve and expand the capabilities of its devices.
