All 270 US Apple Stores Open For The First Time In A Year

Apple re-opens all its stores since being closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic

Nearly all of the Apple stores in the U.S have re-opened since being closed down last year when the COVID-19 virus started to spread. It comes as great news for Apple lovers now that they can shop conveniently again. It also indicates that the world is resuming its normal operations, given that some precautionary measures are being taken care of.

Apple’s store shut down started from 13th March 2020, when all of its stores except those in China were closed. However, some of the branches kept the cycle of resuming business and closing it again, given the virus’s severeness.

The news was reported by 9to5Mac, where they stated of Apple opening all its 270 stores across the U.S on the first of March. It is the first time since the pandemic that Apple has reopened all its store altogether.

Pictures have surfaced over the internet where customers are busy shopping in Apple’s outlets. However, some stores are only offering online orders or drop-off services for fixing an Apple device. Some other shops are offering curbside or storefront pickup only.

Apple is taking some serious steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in their stores. Branches with storefront services are letting customers make appointments for picking up an online pre-order, or the ones who need to get their phones fixed could visit the same way from outside of the store. The Apple stores which are letting customers inside are also abiding by precautionary measures as only a limited number of customers are allowed inside at a time.

Some stores took a different route and showed a new way of the storefront called ‘Apple Express.’ These are made of plexiglass hubs that restrict interactions to Genius appointments.

So, finally, the world is resuming back to its normal business, like it was before the deadly pandemic restricted everyone at their homes. However, the resuming businesses are taking some considerable measures to ensure that they can not aid in the virus’s spread.

The measures that they don’t compromise on at all are to wear masks and to walk through a machine that monitors the customer’s body temperature to see if they are a potential carrier or not. Apple is following measures and recommendations laid down by CDC while resuming its business back open.
