A Quick Perspective by Kevin Wisbith Will Forever Change The Way You Perceive Things

YouTuber Kevin Wisbith is an experienced Adobe Photoshop expert who used his skills to place landmarks in a way that will forever change the way you see them. Apart from their visual appeal, these images also reflect how the human mind perceives that object in this universe. This work was a part of Wisbith’s series titled ‘A Quick Perspective.’

The Mir Mine and the Sears Tower

Widely known as the Mirny Mine, the Mir Mine in Eastern Siberia is one of the largest excavations made by the humans. The 525-meter-deep mine has a diameter of 1200 meter and is the fourth largest in the world while the 1729-feet-tall Willis Tower is the second tallest structure in the US. Wisbith commented on the relative might of both the structures:

“If the 2nd tallest building in the United States, the Willis or Sears Tower which is 1,729 feet tall were placed in the mine, the tip would only stick out 7 feet past ground level.”

The M-1 Rocket Motor

The M1 rocket designed by Aerojet was the most powerful rocket engine fueled by the liquid hydrogen. The motor was even component tested, but the design was never realised.

“If built, the M-1 would be around 14 feet, or wide enough to entirely cover a Smart Car with 2 feet to spare on each side.”

The Breathing Scorpion

The Pulmonoscorpius kirktonensis is one of the old creatures that roamed the Earth during the Viséan era of the Carboniferous. Commonly known as the Breathing Scorpions, these bugs grew up to 70 centimetres, nearly as large as a house cat!

The ultra-huge crude oil carrier, Seawise Giant, was the longest ship ever designed spanning a whopping 1504 feet.

“If placed in the main lake in New York’s Central Park it would only have 350 feet of extra room on the front and back.”

B-2 Bomber on an NFL Field

The B-2 Bomber stealth craft has been designed to carry air-to-surface weapons. Officially called the Northrop Grumman, B-2 Spirit can also take a massive penetration strategic bomber onboard.

“The wingspan of a B-2 is 172 feet, which is 12 feet wider than an NFL football field.”

Burj Khalifa vs. Empire State

The 2772-feet-tall Burj Khalifa is currently the tallest structure in the world housing the world’s largest LED screen.

“If placed in New York it would stretch almost 1,000 feet past the One World Trade centre and almost 1,300 feet taller than the Empire State Building.”

The Titanic vs. U.S.S. Ronald Reagan

“When it was built the Titanic was one of the largest ships built. Its total length was 882 feet and 9 inches long. Since then ship building has come a long way. The United States aircraft carrier the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan is 1,092 feet long. If the Titanic were placed on the deck of the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan, the ship would have 210 feet of deck room left.”

China recently completed the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST) in the Guizhou Province.

“If placed in downtown Las Vegas it would cover half of The Mirage, all of the LINQ, all of Harrahs, and most of Venetian.”

3671 Dionysus Asteroid vs. the Golden Gate Bridge

The asteroid is a whopping 4922 feet long.

“If the asteroid were placed above the Golden Gate Bridge, it wouldn’t even surpass the bridge span.”

The Death Star

“Although the Death Star doesn’t exist in reality, it’s truly the biggest and most bad-ass machine ever conceived. The Death Star’s estimated width is around 99 miles across, or around 1/4th the length of Florida.”
