Online courses are the best way to amass knowledge from around the world without ever leaving the comfort of your couch. Granted that these courses might not be 100% the same deal as a regular course, but it still is a great bargain!

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
MIT has a long, long list of free engineering courses, and these fives are probably the most generic and interesting at the MIT Open Courseware pages.
1. Unified Engineering I, II, III, & IV
Designed to give the basic understanding of aerospace engineering, and can be taken by any undergraduate studying aeronautics and astronautics.
2. How and Why Machines Work
The course started in 2002 and includes rich resources of materials, including lecture notes, lab notes, assignments, and software guides.
3. Fluid mechanics
This probably is specific to mechanical engineers and covers the fundamentals of fluid mechanics, such as fluid pressure, hydrostatics and buoyancy.
4. Introduction to Nuclear Engineering and Ionizing Radiation

This basic course in any engineering is covered comprehensively while giving away free notes, videos, graphics, simulations and assessments. The contents of the course cover force, friction, trusses, equilibrium and engineering connections, along with focusing on trigonometry and algebra.
Delft University of Technology
Delft University has also a wide range of free online engineering courses, available at Open Courseware.
7. Geoscience and Earths Resources
This course will cover the basic knowledge on the behavior of petroleum and water resources.
8. Analog Integrated Circuit Design
The course is based on topics like DC voltage references, trans-linear circuits and oscillators. Best of all, the class notes are also available in PDF format.

This is a graduate level biomedical engineering course consisting 12 lectures covering the analysis of linear/non-linear model structures and complex topics such as optimization techniques and impulse response functions.
