Ever catch yourself binge watching “How It’s Made” videos at midnight? If not, this might get you hooked up for good!

This is how a needle is made, which is a humble yet one of the greatest inventions of all time.

Pins and needles are extracted from long coils of steel wire. The process lasts a couple of days, as these wires are snipped, straightened, sharpened, and cleaned. Finally, they are turned into the all useful needles. Similarly, pins and medical injections are manufactured.
