Every job these days requires a person to use computers and keyboards. The need is going to increase with time and not reduce. Watching a keyboard performing regular tasks is something we see every day but watching a plastic keyboard melting in a pool of acetone is not something you see every day. And it is also a treat to your heart and eyes, seeing it dissolving.
Acetone is a solvent most people are aware of. It can dissolve plastics, artificial fibres, and paints. It is also used in paints and nail polish removers. To dissolve this keyboard and turn it into a pile of unrecognizable mush, it took the solvent about 70 hours. The beautiful destruction was captured in 11,000 photos to form this timelapse.
