Mark Zuckerberg recently headed back to where his multi-million company started. The Facebook CEO gave us a sneak peak into his ex-college Harvard dorm room where the ever growing phenomenon of Facebook began.
“This is my first time being back here since I left 13 years ago. It has been a place where a lot of really special things happened in my life,” Zuckerberg says in the video.
He was accompanied by his wife Priscilla Chan, who also met him at the Ivy League school. The tech mogul reminisced on how much of the furniture has been shifted around in the H33 room in the university’s Kirkland House but still spotted the exact place beside his desk where he sat down and created “thefacebook” in 2004.
“This is where my desk was and this is literally where I sat and I had my little laptop here,” he explains. “This is kind of where it happened.”
Zuckerberg never finished the school as he moved to Silicon Valley to build Facebook. But he has now returned after more than a decade to give a commencement address and receive an honorary degree!
