Watch What Happens When You Try To Pour Water Over The Hoover Dam

Hoover Dam Water Experiment

If you travel a few times in your life, you would be mesmerized, or rather obsessed with something unique about it. Like the Pink Lake in Australia, the death swing in Equador, or the crooked trees of Saskatchewan. You would love to travel more and find out the most amazing and unique things about every part of the world. Not everyone has that kind of luxury of both having time and money for trips like that.

Some joys in life are far simpler. You may not get to have a dip in the dead sea to find out how it is but if you live in the US, you can make your way to the Hoover Dam running water between Arizona and Nevada, and try pouring water over the ledge.

Really, we do not recommend walking over to the edge like that but since this clever woman tried it already. You can watch the video and just be amazed at how the liquid flows out of the water bottle.

Do you have any idea why this happens? Let us know in the comments.

Everyone knows that Hoover Dam was built over an alien vortex, which is why gravity is backwards here. Easy.

Because the amount of water flowing down created a updraft wind.

Have you never heard of an updraft? The shape of the canyon and the dam face accounts for it easily.
