Ultramodern ZERO Personal Helicopter May Make Cars A Thing of Past

Zerocopter6

We are living in an era where our childhood fantasies seem to be turning into reality. Every now and then we see new concepts coming up and scientists in conjunction with engineers working to turn them into reality. Such is the concept of a persona aircraft, like demonstrated in the Jetson’s. What we have today for you is known as the ZERO Helicopter which has been designed by a Spanish designer; Hector Del Amo. This concept was posted on Behance and there is no information regarding it. No specifications have been given and neither any detail is given but the pictures of this concept sure present a sleek model designed for one passenger. One day, when this helicopter will become a reality, cars might become a thing of past.

Can mine have a pod around it? Wing like that go upwards like beetle wings. Solar heating pannels may be. You see where I live I’d get MIGHTY wet going to work in winter and freeze like a popsicle. Thank you! I have one in red please.

I like it! Just needs 4 seats and some cargo space and I would want one. They should make the main rotors foldable so that when its parallel parked the blades aren’t hitting anything driving by.

Odds are cars are here to say for at least 100 more years but I do see a future for personal flying vehicles. Most likely within 50 years we could see these things co existing with cars.

I also like the simple shape and size! Makes it harder to hide IED’s (improvised explosive devices) because if they did make affordable personal flying vehicles terrorists would have a field day. They would love to fly one or more personal flying vehicles into buildings strapped with bombs.

That’s one reason why we don’t have personal flying vehicles yet. Allot of safty laws make it next to impossible to have personal flying vehicles.

I would love for one of these to become reality. Not sure about the viability of an electric motor considering how much HP & Torque My commute is 40 miles each way at 1h 45m minutes, this would be wonderful. Hope someone from the Mosquito Experimental and Ultralight Helicopters company has a look and starts work on one of these asap.

More than anything, this design assumes, incorrectly, that flying a helicopter is easy enough for the average person to master. Never mind that something so light could only be flown on calm, clear days.

They could make it with a programable auto pilot computer. That way you don’t need to do much flying. There’s a terrafugi being worked on that doesn’t need a pilots license or any real flying skill to operate as 80% of its operation is done through the auto pilot.

    Where is the power-supply?
THIS ist the problem, there are no light-weight / high power / long time duration batteries avaiable this time…

Lockeed Martin is developing compact fusion power that could be a good power sorce for it assuming it meets proper safty standards.
