The academic section of the team was comprised of futurists, architects and other speakers from the University of Westminster. You would be surprised to know that most of the technology thats required to make this future come true already exists, it’s only a matter of scaling it up and making it more cost effective. According to experts, the exponential rise in the population will cause the humans to live in urban centers that will consist of absurdly tall skyscrapers and then there will be ‘earth-scrapers’ that would go 25 stories deep into the ground.

If that’s got you amazed, then the next information will blow your mind; the team further says that the future will have sphere like ‘bubble cities’ that will be able to create oxygen from the water surrounding them. Drone technology has also been predicted to increase at an alarming rate, resulting in people using personal drones for traveling as well.

The report talks about food industry as well that will be completely reshaped thanks to the 3D printing technology. Families will be able to download from menus and 3D print the meal. Your whole house could be moved via drones to vacation spot thanks to the modular design and huge drones becoming affordable.

We are witnessing an age of progression that is happening so fast that in the blink of an eye, we seem to travel further and further into the future. Needless to say, technology is indeed making advancements like never before. However, still we can’t deny that these are all merely predictions that may or may not become true.

Let’s see how soon this future gets over here if we live long enough to enjoy such an age of technology and science.
