If a person is addicted to something, that addiction will make that person do anything and everything to get it fulfilled. In Apatity Town, located in Northern Russia, a man stole a bottle of wine while driving to the store in an armored vehicle. The man is said to be in his late 20s and he attempted the crime in an armored personnel carrier (APC) that he picked from a training ground. People nearby watched him crashing the APC into a store. After crashing he climbed out of the vehicle, entered the store and went away with a bottle of wine.

Reports are that the armored vehicle was stolen from a near-by motorsports training ground. He drove it in the woods, and in the small town as well. The town is near the border with Finland and south of the Arctic Circle.

Driving an APC is very hard and after the driver got drunk, he could not turn the vehicle around properly. While turning, he smashed a car in the parking and then left the armored and went with his wine. The man was arrested later on.

A guy who witnessed the event tweeted the pictures and said, “Basically some guy stole an armored vehicle… and went into a shop to top up his stocks in the morning.” Indeed, just to a get a bottle of wine, this stunt really did not seem to worth the trouble that the man has put himself into.
