The Ocumetics Bionic Lens bids a future that has no place for corrective lenses or spectacles. Dr. Garth Webb from Ocumetics Technology Corp has come up with the design of a brilliant bionic lens that will change the life of millions of people around the world.

The designers of the bionic lens claim that it will impart enhanced eyesight, far beyond the normal 20/20 vision. The painless bionic lens implant will enable the wearers to see three times better. Thus they will be able to experience high-quality visualisation.

It took researchers relentless study of eight years and a whopping $3 million to come up with the design of the Ocumetic Bionic Lens. Webb is very optimistic about the results of the Ocumetic Bionic Lens that could be inserted in a painless, eight-minute procedure.

The Ocumetic Bionic Lens is not designed to act as a contact lens. In fact, the bionic lens adheres to the natural biconvex lens in the eye. The procedure of the bionic lens insertion is so simple that it can readily be performed in the outpatient department of any hospital.

All it takes is a saline solution containing the bionic lens flushed into the eye via a syringe. The folded lens opens and sticks to the natural lens after ten seconds. The patient can immediately discern a noticeable difference in his vision, whereby he can see clearer and farther.

The Ocumetic Bionic Lens also provides protection against cataracts and enhances the health of the natural lens in the eye. The saline flush procedure is also safer and less dangerous than the laser surgical methods for vision correction.

Webb is conducting further clinical trials of the Ocumetic Bionic Lens and hopes to market this lens by the end of 2017. Learn more about the bionic lens in this video:
