One of the most famous college dropouts, the Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg is finally getting his Harvard degree.
However, the 32-year-old billionaire is not going back to class. Harvard is having its 366th commencement on Thursday, May 25 and guess who the guest speaker is? Zuckerberg, of course. He will be delivering the commencement address to the class of 2017, which obviously implies him to get an honorary degree.
A statement was released in the Harvard Gazette where the Harvard President Drew Faust said,
“Few inventions in modern times can rival Facebook in its far-reaching impact on how people around the globe interact with one another. And few individuals can rival Mark Zuckerberg in his drive to change our world through the innovative use of technology, as well as his commitment to advance science, enhance education, and expand opportunity through the pursuit of philanthropy.”

Some may consider Zuckerberg as an overnight success, but the truth is different. After dropping out from Harvard as a sophomore in 2004, Zuckerberg moved to Palo Alto, California and pursued his social network. It has been 13 years since, and Facebook is without a doubt one of the most valuable, influential, and powerful networks of the world.
