Man Kills Thousands Of Mosquitoes Every Night Using This Genius Mechanism

You thought sharks are deadly? Well, it turns out the deadliest of all creatures on the planet are the innocent looking tiny mosquitoes causing over a million deaths every year according to World Health Organization.

One of the oldest known mosquito-borne diseases is Malaria, 300 to 500 million cases of which are reported every year. Zika virus, West Nile virus, Chikungunya virus, and dengue fever are just another few menaces spread by the little ones. Inventions like Photonic Fence, Smart Trap, Malaria vaccine are just some of the many steps that have been taken to minimize the dangers posed by mosquitoes.

Electronic or photonic mosquito killers work fine unless you live in a very humid area where swarms of mosquitoes sit out, all ready to feast on your blood. You may be able to get rid of thousands of these bugs but you need a huge industrial fan and a dog. Well, that is how YouTuber Dan Rojas of GreenPowerScience caught swarms of mosquitoes in a very humid place.

A fan of that size will cost you around $1100 to $300 online and the dog’s breath is the perfect source of carbon dioxide for attracting the mosquitoes. He used a mesh screen to avoid getting debris stuck in the fan, held in place by strong rare-earth magnets. Before someone starts imagining animal abuse, Rojas has clarified that the dog sleeps indoors at night and does not get bitten sitting in the cage between two industrial fans.

If you do not have a dog, carbon dioxide coming from a slightly opened seltzer bottle will do the job.
