The malware attack has affected 200,000 computers in 150 countries around the globe. After the news had gone viral, there emerged the image of a priest apparently blessing the computers in the Russian ministry with holy water, to help them through this calamity.  The media and internet covered the story that despite Putin having blessed the Russian Ministry computers with holy water back in 2013, the attack crippled the computers anyway.

The practice may be a tradition in Russia, and the priest may be asked to bless the technology again, now that a serious security breach has shook the country’s computers.
