Henrik Fisker, a renowned automotive designer is again making headlines amid the release of the first head-on image of his latest project of creating an autonomous long-range electric car. A lot of expectations were pinned on the new concept, and the first images did not disappoint anyone. The design is sleek and aerodynamic along with having adaptive LED headlights and self-driving capability which is provided by a combination of radar and cameras mounted in the centre.

Last week Henrik revealed a side view of the car which showed the vehicle’s distinctive butterfly doors. Fisker boasts his car’s interior to be larger than its closest competitors while utilising technology-focused user experience. The frame is designed to be manufactured using a combination of carbon fibre and aluminium.

This amazing design is scheduled to hit the markets in the latter half of 2017, and will be manufactured by Fisker’s new company, Fisker Inc, although the self-driving technology provider is yet to be decided.  Car’s price is bid to be close to a high-end Tesla Model S, but Fisker has already expressed his desire to use a consumer-friendly electric car which is more affordable than competitors like the Chevy Bolt or the Tesla Model 3.

The upcoming model is even more highly anticipated as it is being released after the ill-fated and now discontinued Fisker Karma, which failed due to a plethora of battery issues causing the Fisker Automotive to go broke.
