If you don’t want to leave traces of your browsing history, the solution is simple, use the incognito (private) window. However, the looming danger of unannounced intruders is always there. Mike, CEO of the Useless Duck Company, solved this problem with his new invention: the Incognito Lock.

While this could be used for your simple need of locking the door via your browser, Mike specifically designed it for the doting husbands who want to surprise their wives by getting them a gift online for their birthday or anniversary. Incognito Lock would act as your “look-out” by locking the door and ensuring she doesn’t enter the room while you shop and catch you in the act of… surprising her with gifts. Here’s a video of the invention.

With some programming and mechanical skills, this tool could be made in no time. All you need to do is connect your PC up with an Arduino that has a servo-controlled lock added. The program written by Mike then goes through all browsers of your computer and if it comes across any incognito mode, it signals the Arduino to lock the door.

The Useless Duck Company has a bunch of other hilarious Arduino innovations, for example, a fedora that tips itself and the automated toilet paper-dispensing machine. You can view these highly comical projects here.
