Vals is a small village located in Swiss Alps and is home to about 1,000 folks. The village is surrounded by pristine mountaintops. Morphosis is a New York City architecture firm that is being led by Thom Mayne who has come up with an amazing proposal for a hotel that shall stand alone atop the skyline of Vals.
According to the plans; this skyscraper will measure in at 1,250 meters when it comes to height which is the same height as that of Empire State Building if you don’t factor in the pinnacle. The hotel has been named as 7132 – after the town’s postal code – shall sport 107 rooms with cost per night varying from $1,000 to $24,000. Every room will feature its own floor and will come with amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
The construction can be completed in 2019, as per the firm, given that the firm wins over the local voters. The building will cost $313 million for the construction and will sport a restaurant, ballroom, spa, library, gallery, sky bar and a fitness center.
