The Titanium iPhone Case Costs More Than The iPhone Itself

Apple just released iPhone X at an all-time high price of $1,000. This hasn’t stopped the enthusiasts to get their hands on the latest flagship. Gray, a Singapore-based luxury brand has released an iPhone case for the enthusiasts who don’t consider cost a factor. This titanium iPhone case has a price of $1,345, significantly higher than the phone itself.

Let us take a look at the reason behind this steep price. According to the company, the case originally starts with a solid block of titanium, which is machined down into a case. It is then given a rainbow glow by hand torching the titanium and each case is individually numbered making them unique and one of a kind. The logo and all the details are etched by a laser.

The titanium iPhone case has a case of its own. The case’s case itself is made out of machined aluminum and has a very high-end finish.

The titanium iPhone case consists of two parts that go on both the sides of your phone. The case comes with rubber bits that allow it to adhere to the phone and require a little attention. But, once the case is on it is very solid. The case is sharply angled with chamfered edges and gives the otherwise rounded iPhone an aggressive look. It fully covers all the corners to avoid the cracking of screen in case it is dropped.
