It gets cold in my office pretty bad because I am a kind of person who gets cold easily. It took me a while to look for a reliable heater that would also be a nice looking. I ordered it because the price and customer feedback was good. And it has been about a week using it in my office. AWESOME!” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

While I have wood floors, bedrooms had carpet and were not aware that I couldn’t place on the carpet until I read the directions — so I’ve put it in our study/library. 7. Kaz Electric Heater ($14.99)

This is a minuscule heater for personal heating by Honeywell. You can take this portable anywhere with you; you desk, your office or your bed. It has two heater settings: Low 170 Watts and High 250 Watts. It is cool to touch, has tip-over and overheat protection built-in.

“This little heater works exactly as promised. My office has circuit issues, and anyone using a standard 12 amp heater would always shut the power off after a while–this only uses two amps! That’s the same amount of power in any standard phone charger. It does not have a thermostat, but also does not get scorching due to its size. I keep mine running the entire work day. We must use heaters with tip-over protection in my building, and the tip over protection works flawlessly–heater must be put on a flat surface. The only drawback is that it has a pretty narrow range of heating you. If it’s on top of your desk, expect just your chest up to be heated. If it’s on the floor, only your knees down will be warm. If you have a computer tower, that would ideally be the best place to put it. I have a small box under my desk that it’s sitting on and it works best for me there (the heater is angled upward just like the picture).

This will NOT heat an entire room, only your personal space. If you work somewhere with power issues, though, this is a heaven send! I do think it has an auto shut off function. I tried sitting it on the floor and placing it under a blanket (that was draped over me), and it shut off after like a minute. At first, I thought it was broken the very first day, but after leaving it alone for like 10-15 min it turned right back on, and I haven’t seen any issues since then.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

It has a thermostat and in the case of a tip-over, you are provided safety by the front guards. An oversized carry handle helps in portability and ease of travel.

“What prompted me to write this review – was my purchase of a dura flame electric heater of similar wattage to the old milkhouse Holmes-branded unit a friend gave to me. Even though the two units claim same heat output. The milkhouse heater kicks out the heat compared with the dura flame – $75 model. The dura flame is much more aesthetically appealing but cannot match the raw heat output of this unit. This unit will put out the most heat for your dollar cost. I have also purchased the plastic Holmes units similar to this model, and they are still not the same heat output. Just wanted to clarify for Amazon customers that if you want the heat to buy this unit if you want fancy or pretty, buy others.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“This little heater didn’t look like much on the shelf at the store where I bought it–plastic casing looked flimsy, and I worried it wouldn’t last. The 3-year warranty, however, gave me a boost of consumer confidence, and I decided to try. When I got home and took it out of the box, I was disappointed. The casing indeed looked flimsy, and I expected the unit to be bigger, especially regarding depth, based on the dimensions of the box.

I was surprised then when it turned out to pack quite a punch! It warmed up its surroundings immediately, and I ended up leaving it on all night–it kept the room comfortably warm all night. It doesn’t seem flimsy at all anymore–just a lightweight unit that does a surprisingly good job! With a confidence borne of the 3-year warranty, I’m entirely satisfied with my purchase. I’m glad I took a chance on this little heater.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

I really like your fireplace appearance for an electric heater. but there is so much crap to even find you? is it necessary to make an Olympic obstacle course to buy an electrical heater? the unit I’m interested in is elegant and would suit my needs. The fireplace appearance would brighten the room as well as warm it. i see nothing as to where you are? how long it would take to deliver? what shipping costs would be? if it will appear damaged or broken? i have a dear friend who just moved and doesn’t have any heat in her new home. a fireplace would raise her spirits so very much. but I’m not at all impressed by your salesmanship. id at least like to talk to someone that can give more detail as to the unit.
