I’ve been using it with 12 foot 1/2 inch sheets, and it works great. Beats the heck out of holding the sheet on top of my head while my wife complains and struggles with the other end!

The fit and finish are not perfect, but it was a drywall lift for $180ish dollars. It lifts drywall, and it does that well, that’s all I need it to do.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“Don’t let the price or minimal reviews scare you off. This lift is better quality than any of the rentals I have used.
I am a general contractor with 30 yrs experience in residential and commercial construction, and I would recommend this product for DIYers and professionals. The shipping was excellent. It arrived two days early and took me about 10 minutes to set up. I have rented several of these over the years, and this one is just as good as any rental and in most cases better since so many before I haven’t abused it. I also ordered a “Pentagon” extension to do 15-foot ceilings, and although I found that my maximum height with the extension was 14′ 8″, it fit perfectly into this lift and worked great. I almost didn’t buy this because it had so few reviews and the price was so much lower than other vendors, but I am glad I took the chance. Great price! Great tool! Excellent delivery time!” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“Here is the deal.

It’s rickety, wobbly and awkward. But I’ll tell you what, its cheap and it works. For the price, I couldn’t be happier. One person can toss up a 1200 sqft ceiling in a day. It’s crazy how much of a difference it makes. I should have bought this years ago. For the price its one of the best tools I have ever purchased. Any nitpicks over quality, or fit and finish are out the window. At these prices, if it works at all it’s a steal. And this works well!” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“I have never used a hanging helper before but I can say putting 12′ sheets on a ceiling is now a one man job. Ceilings are now trivial as long as you have some floor space to work with. Walls I still have not figure out completely. This still looks like a two person job, especially if you have any receptacles to align. You can do 12′ horizontal runs with one person, but it is slow and painfully alone. The operation is smooth and stable. It breaks down into five large pieces for storage.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.
